community at Macworld Conference & Expo/New York 2001 taking place next week
(July 17 – 20, 2001, Expo: July 18 – 20, 2001) at the Jacob K. Javits Convention
Center, New York City.

1. IMPORTANT EVENT FACTS

*Badge Information*
Super Pass, Macworld/Pro, Macworld/Users 1&11 and Workshop registrants — if you
registered on or BEFORE June 18, 2001, your badge and badge holder has been
mailed for arrival in early July. With your badge and badge holder you may
attend the event upon arrival. If you registered AFTER June 18, 2001, you must
pick-up your badge and badge holder at the Pre-Registered Attendee station
located in the Crystal Palace of the Javits Center.

Exhibits Only registrants — if you registered on or BEFORE June 18, 2001, your
badge card has been mailed for arrival in early July. Simply bring the badge to
any Badge Holder Pick-Up station located in the Javits Center to receive your
badge holder. If you registered AFTER June 18, 2001, you must pick-up your
badge and badge holder at the Pre-Registered Attendee station located in the
Crystal Palace of the Javits Center.

International registrants — International badge credentials are NOT mailed.
Please visit the Pre-Registered Attendee station located in the Crystal Palace
of the Javits Center, and your badge and badge holder will be waiting for you.

If you registered prior to June 18, 2001 and have not received your badge
credentials as stated above, simply bring your confirmation letter/number with
you on-site and pick-up your badge credentials at the event.

7. TICKETS FOR THE LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN

A limited number of tickets have been made available specifically for Macworld
Conference & Expo/NY 2001 attendees. If you would like to be considered for the
opportunity to be a part of the live studio audience for a taping of the Late
Show with David Letterman, please answer the following questions and e-mail your
responses back to lateshowtickets6@cbs.com no later than Friday, July 13, 2001.

These tickets are available for Wednesday, July 17th and Thursday, July 18th.
On Wednesday we are taping one show at 5:30 pm; winners for this show must pick
up their tickets between 3:15 pm and 4 pm. On Thursday we are taping two shows,
one at 4:30 pm and one at 7 pm. Winners for the 4:30 pm show must pick up their
tickets between 2:15 pm and 3 pm and winners for the 7 pm show must pick up
their tickets between 4:45 pm and 5:30 pm.

Both you and your guest must be present to claim your tickets, must be able to
present photo identification, must be 18 years of age or older, and must present
your Macworld Conference & Expo badges and badge holders. Tickets are
non-transferable. The names listed in this request are the only people who will
be allowed to attend.

In order to be eligible to win the tickets, please answer the following:

1) Winners may bring one guest with them to the show. Please list your full
name and the full name of your guest.
2) Please state which date and time that you would be available to attend.
3) Tell us why you want to be in the Late Show audience.
4) List your three favorite moments from the Late Show. (Please avoid
mentioning specific guests)
5) Please provide a local phone number (i.e. cell phone, hotel room, or local
home number) at which you can be readily reached in the event that tickets
become available for your party. There is no need to contact us further; we
will contact you if you are a winning entry.
